Why Outdoora Travels?
Small groups. Personal guidance. Real connections.
SMALL GROUPS
We keep our groups small on purpose. It means more personal attention, more flexibility and space to really experience the journey together
PERSONALLY GUIDED
I’m there throughout the journey, guiding you, sharing the experience and making sure you feel comfortable every step of the way. When local knowledge matters, we work with trusted local guides who know their landscape inside out.
COME AS A STRANGER. LEAVE AS A FRIEND.
The best part of an adventure is often the people you share it with. Walk together, laugh together, challenge yourself together — and leave with memories and connections that last beyond the journey.
WOMEN ONLY
Adventure feels different together.
There's something special about travelling with women.
You can be adventurous.
You can be quiet.
You can laugh until your stomach hurts.
You can challenge yourself.
You can simply be yourself.
Our trips are designed for women who want to explore, connect and experience something beyond the ordinary — together with a small group of like-minded women.
Hike. Taste. Explore. Connect. Laugh.
Mountain trails · Local food · Wild swimming · Wine · Hidden places · Good conversations
You don’t have to travel far to find something extraordinary.
Outdoora is about getting outside, trying something new and sharing the experience with people who are just as curious as you are.
Come for the adventure. Stay for the places, the stories and the people you meet along the way.
ABOUT DORA
Meet the person behind Outdoora
Hi, I’m Dora.
Outdoora Travels started with a simple idea: to create the kind of adventures I love myself — small-scale, personal and a little different from the usual way of travelling.
I’ve spent years guiding people through wild places, from the mountains of Scandinavia to the Balkans. I’ve lived in North Macedonia where I had my own hiking and adventure company. I worked in nature and ecology, and discovered that I feel most at home outdoors — especially when I can share that feeling with others.
I’m the person behind Outdoora Travels. I design the journeys, lead the groups and stay involved from the first hello to the final goodbye. When local knowledge matters, I work with trusted local guides who know their region inside out.
For me, the best adventures are not only about where you go. They’re about what happens along the way — the challenge, the laughter, the unexpected moments and the people you meet.
Come curious. Leave inspired.
Where will you find your wild?
Wild places.
A small group of women.
And maybe a version of yourself you haven't met yet.
From remote mountain trails to peacefull valleys and places where local life still shapes the rhythm of the day — Outdoora takes you beyond the usual paths.
Dorcas guided us through the Lagauvegur Trail in Iceland last summer. Before that trip even ended, one of the women in our group started planning where Dorcas would take us THIS summer. When she told us she would guide us through Albania and Macedonia, we all jumped on board. Having just returned from our second adventure of a lifetime, I am ready for the third.
Dorcas’s passion and knowledge for all things outdoors and the culture of Macedonia made for a magical and unique itinerary. I summited Mount Korab and crossed the boarder from Albania to Macedonia by foot, and I also chatted with with a Dutch sheep farmer about the New York Knicks. I experienced a Macedonian evening which included a surprise hike with donkeys, and I paraglided over Lake Ohrid. Dorcas’s trip immersed us in a new country so organically while also giving us the space to push ourselves out of our comfort zones.
I cannot recommend traveling with Dorcas enough. She cares very much about the places you visit with her, but probably more about the people in her groups. She is perceptive and supportive with a great sense of humor through it all. This helped facilitate a dynamic where everybody felt (maybe too much so :) ) comfortable, and we STILL haven’t stopped laughing. What more could you ask for?
